Everest Fon ("we," "us," "our") is a brand of Everest Fon LLC. We keep this simple: we collect as little as possible, we use it only to send you the recipes and updates you asked for, and we never sell it. This policy explains what we collect and the choices you have.
1. What we collect
We collect only what we need to send you recipes and reply to you:
- Your first name and email — when you sign up for the free starter pack, join our list, or contact us.
- Anything you choose to tell us — for example, what you'd love to cook, if you fill in the optional field on our form.
- Basic server logs — standard technical information our hosting records automatically, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, used to keep the site running and secure.
We do not run user accounts on this site, and we do not collect or store payment-card data here.
2. How we use it
We use your information to:
- Send your free starter pack and the recipes you requested.
- Send occasional emails about new cookbooks, tutorials and course openings — which you can unsubscribe from at any time.
- Reply to your messages and support questions.
We do not use your information to make automated decisions about you, and we don't email you daily. Just the good stuff, now and then.
3. Consent & choices
You share your details with us by opting in — filling out a form and submitting it. You're in control the whole time. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any moment using the one-click link at the bottom of every message, or by emailing us. Unsubscribing stops the marketing emails; we may still reply to a direct question you send us.
4. How it's stored
Your details live in two places: a private lead log on our hosting plan, and our email inbox and email-sending tools. Access is limited to the people who run Everest Fon. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, though no method of storage or transmission over the internet is ever perfectly secure.
5. We never sell your data
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone. We share it only with the service providers that help us operate — for example, our hosting and email tools — and only so they can perform those services for us.
6. Cookies
We keep cookies minimal. This site does not run third-party advertising trackers by default, and we don't build advertising profiles about you. Any cookies we use are there to make the site work and remember basic preferences, like your light or dark theme.

7. Your rights
You have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to request a correction, and to ask us to delete it. To make any request, just email us and we'll take care of it.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information we collect about you and how we use it, the right to request that we delete it, and the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of — but you're welcome to confirm that with us. 8. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as you're subscribed or for as long as needed to provide what you asked for. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data, we remove it from our active lead log within a reasonable period, except where we're required to keep certain records to meet legal obligations.
9. Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time as our practices or the law change. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be made clear here.
